About the Event
Join us for the next event with Fred Provenza in a special 4-part series based on his newly released paper titled "We Are the Earth and the Earth Is Us: How Palates Link Foodscapes, Landscapes, Heartscapes, and Thoughtscapes". In the first installment, we will talk with Fred about his experience connecting animal behavior to foodscapes through their inherent nutritional wisdom and how we can one learn from animals but also regenerate our soils.
At Utah State, Provenza directed an award-winning research group that pioneered understanding of how learning influences foraging behavior and how behavior links soils and plants with herbivores and humans. Â Provenza is one of the founders of BEHAVE, an international network of scientists and land managers committed to integrating behavioral principles with local knowledge to enhance environmental, economic, and cultural values of rural and urban communities.
